Don't trust eBay LED "datasheets" September 15 2013
I will admit that this was 50% my fault and 50% the sellers fault. In trying to lay the board out in parallel with waiting for these LEDs to arrive, I sent for a prototype PCB before the LEDs arrived. I just assumed the LEDs I was going to receive would use the pinout that the seller's listing showed (left). My guess is that the seller switched manufacturers he was purchasing the LEDs from and forgot to switch the pinout to the new LED. The one's I received are PLCC-4 package, but the dies don't look anything like the picture. So now I have a worthless prototype PCB and another two weeks wait for the updated PCB. Next time I will be sure to check the pinout on the LEDs before I order the prototype boards.
